In addition to offering unique results and sensations. The instruments used for its application are made of wood. Using wooden utensils, relaxation and certain physical benefits. Although it has been modernized, it is based on ancient oriental techniques

Human beings have always sought ways to alleviate and/or eliminate all kinds of ailments. Over time, materials and techniques have been found that improve and/or complement what is already known. Sometimes it involves new techniques and other times old knowledge that is rescued and sometimes altered to adapt to new realities.

Within this last group is wood therapy or maderotherapy, a treatment that has recently become very popular because it combines the relaxation of a massage with aesthetic effects. And as far as this portal is concerned, it has madethere are already many people who ask us about which woods are the right ones, and how to design and build the instruments used in therapy.

Benefits of Wood Therapy

A series of benefits are attributed to this massage technique:

  • Relieves muscle and joint ailments.
  • Helps control anxiety and stress.
  • Increases physical performance.
  • Firm and tone the body.
  • Prevents the appearance of cellulite (helping lymphatic drainage), varicose veins and wrinkles.

Does woodrotherapy have contraindications

There is no clear scientific evidence on the efficacy and safety of this technique. However, it is not an invasive practice that can carry risk or contraindications for most people.

Therefore, we should only rule out the practice in situations where the risk is due to other factors: people with skin damage (burns, injuries, infections or edema) or particularly serious diseases.

It will always be advisable, in case of doubt, to consult a specialist.

EYELASH EXTENSIONS

Eyelash extensions are used to enhance the length, curvature, quantity, and thickness of natural eyelashes. The extensions can be made of various materials that include synthetic and silk (as a trade name, eyelash extensions are known in many cases as Mink, a literal translation from English of mink, although the extension is not made of hair from this animal, but rather that 99% are synthetic imitation mink). In eyelash extensions, a false eyelash of synthetic or natural hair is applied to each own hair, with a special technique and with a specific, hypoallergenic and waterproof adhesive. It is done with a distance of between 1 and 2 mm in front of the root, to avoid allergies or that your natural hair suffers. False eyelashes and eyelash extensions are not the same.

SKYNDOR

HYDRATION / BRIGHTNESS / INSTANT EFFECT / ANTI-SPOTS / ANTI-AGE / FACIAL CARE

Do you know what the benefits of facial treatments are?

Facials are highly recommended as as we age our skin becomes thinner and drier. Time causes healthy, young cells to break down, giving skin a duller appearance. In addition, our faces are exposed to the elements (sun, wind...), and these, along with repetitive facial expressions, cause wrinkles or expression lines to appear.

PHOTOTHERAPY AND CHROMOTHERAPY IN FACIAL TREATMENTS

LED is a light-emitting diode that can be applied for therapeutic purposes. The first to notice these properties were astronauts who noticed how their wounds healed and reconstructed sooner thanks to exposure to LED light.

What is phototherapy? It is the use of ultraviolet light, that is, of a certain part of the solar spectrum, for the treatment of different skin diseases.

Chromotherapy, phototherapy or bioluminic therapy, as it is now called, is the use of lights, in a monochromatic beam that, depending on its penetration and wavelength, is used for certain pathologies or skin conditions.

This facial treatment consists of, by placing an LED mask, applying light to the skin, penetrating it and stimulating the fibroblast cells to produce more collagen.

Increasing collagen production, smoothes and softens the appearance of wrinkles and pore size, improving skin texture.

LED light therapy for the skin is done with different colors, all of which have their own effect. Depending on the desired treatment, some colors or others are used, or LED light therapy is combined with infrared (IR) to obtain better results.

The pathogenic mechanism of psoriasis is based on the arrival of inflammatory cells to the

skin, causing redness and inflammation, and in the messages that these give to the keratinocytes (the

skin cells) to reproduce more quickly, causing an increase in the thickness of the

epidermis and desquamation. In this scenario, the useful part of the solar spectrum, which is the rays

ultraviolet type A and B (UVA and UVB), has the property of slowing down the reproduction of the keratinocyte and

to relax the activity of inflammatory cells.

Advantages and disadvantages:

The great advantage of phototherapy is its good risk-benefit profile and the versatility to be combined with many of the currently used treatments.

The effects of the LED Mask are noticeable from the first treatment: in about 20 minutes in the cabin

we will enjoy healthier, brighter, more hydrated, firmer skin and a more toned tone.

uniform; although, logically, for prolonged and more evident results, it is necessary

several sessions, usually about 5.

Its applications are special to repair damaged and mature tissue, soften the

expression lines, reduce wrinkles, large pores, spots and dark circles. It also helps the

cicatrization.

The treatment is carried out in sessions. The most common is that the skin needsbetween 4 and 6 sessions, at intervals of 15 days between sessions, to regenerate completely. If the skin is not badly damaged, 4 sessions will suffice. Although this, obviously, will always be recommended by the professional in charge.
